The Well-Being Coach (WC) promotes wellness through mentoring, professional development, academic support, integrated living, healthy choices, and self-responsibility as a case manager. The function of the position is to provide comprehensive community support services under the direction of the Wellness Advocate. The Well-Being Coach promotes health through multiple methods: one-on-one sessions, group settings, fitness and nutrition guidance, presentations, and collaboration with other organizations and faculty and staff. The Well-Being Coach role fosters independence, teamwork, leadership, personal growth, and an increased knowledge base about promoting holistic health from within. Additionally, this includes supporting the growth and development in academic and career goal-setting, learning strategies, comprehension, time management, and organization. Lastly, this includes the role of Fitness Instructor, which demonstrates techniques and proper form, observes students, and explains corrective measures to improve their skills and help avoid injury.

Case Management Accountabilities
● Emphasize and enforce the Mission and Vision of Wellness Studios Inc. as a wellness provider.
●Co-Create individualized Case Plans: develop specific goals, plans, and objectives to address issues related to clients.
●Track progress of clients by maintaining HIPAA-compliant client records 
●Assist in the preparation and execution of health training and information programs  
●Monitor clients’ well-being and refer them to other community resources and services 
●Attend meetings and training as required

Coaching Accountabilities
●Maintain a caseload of 8-10 clients
●Monitor progress of clients in caseload with check-ins, scheduled meetings, or proactive outreach and communication, responding to 
clients' questions, concerns, and needs
●Coaching clients in identifying, developing, and implementing strategies to successfully manage events at home, school, or work. 

Personal Trainer/Fitness Instructor General Accountabilities
●Demonstrate techniques and proper form, observe clients, and explain corrective measures to improve their skills and help avoid injury.
●Accommodate various levels of fitness by offering alternatives during classes.
●Monitor participants’ progress and adapt programs, as necessary.
●Develop and execute specific goals, plans, and objectives to address issues related to clients.
●Ensure that safety and injury prevention policies and procedures are adhered to by participants; report accidents and prepare accident reports, as required.

Job Qualifications 
●Education: Minimum High School diploma, Preferred Bachelor’s degree
●Current licensures and certification in Group Fitness or Relevant Training is 
required and be in good standing.
●Experience: A minimum of one (1) year of experience in fitness instruction 
is preferred.
●Pass a pre-employment criminal background check. 
●Maintain licensures/certifications in good standing.
●Maintain continuing education requirements.
●Carry your own liability insurance

Compensation: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
